class evaluation

Class Evaluation

1. What I like about this class is that we use computers and get to explore new things that we never knew before.

2. Something I do not like about this class is just how we can't chew gum, other than that everything is fine with this class.

3. Something I recommend for improvements is not doing the same things all the time, it is very repetitive and at a point you just know what's going to happen next and you get tired of it.

4. The highlight for me in this class was using weebly because I could create my own website and it was just cool how you can customize any way you want to.

5. Yes I feel like I did my best in here, I would try to do my best in here because it's really interesting on how to do your own HTML coding and that was a little hard to keep up with. So I did my best.

6. I am writing in my life planning goals journal on both sides but the thing is I'm not doing it on a daily.

7. Yes I am committed to being ctr person because choosing the right always gets you in a right path and it leads you to doing greater things for yourself .

how to remember names

1) Commit
Begin by making a commitment, like a conscious decision to remember people's names.

2) Concentrate
Listen to the person's name. If you miss it or find a few seconds later that you’ve already forgotten it, and apologize for that and tell them if they can say their name again.

3) Repeat
You can already use the name immediately. Comment on the name if possible. And use it occasionally in the conversation without overdoing it.

how to win friends and influence people

Six Ways to Make People Like You.

Rule 1: Become genuinely interested in other people.
1) " Do this and you will be welcome "
2) " You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you. "
3) " Ask questions to other people, questions that they would enjoy answering. "

Being less interested in yourself can make you more interested into other peoples opinions, thoughts and everything else. Being self-centered ins't such a good thing. Knowing more things about other people is better because in that way you see what they have common with you and refer back to them. You can start becoming friends with that person. Being interested in other people can give you twice the amount of friends you have in a year to a few months. All that can bring happiness in your path some way.

" The true secret of happiness lies in taking a genuine interest in all the details of daily life. " - William Morris

Rule 2: Smile
1) " Actions speak louder than words, and a smile says, " I like you. You make me happy. I am glad to see you. "
2) " You don't feel like smiling ?  Then force yourself to smile. "
3) " It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign ( witness or indication ) of friends. "

Smiling can say a lot about a person. There's those people who are just naturally nice and constantly smile. When there's others who don't really smile because it's just not what they like to do. And smiling can mean many things. It can be a friendly smile. Getting a friendly smile from a stranger is maybe something really nice. You first of all don't know the person and they;re smiling at you because they want to. And you smiling to other people is a kind gesture. Doesn't necessarily have to mean anything but it is a nice thing. You can actually make a new friend just by smiling.

" A warm smile is the universal language of kindness. " - William Arthur Ward

Rule 3: Remember names
1) " A man's name is to him the sweetest and most important sound in any language. "
2) " If you don't remember names, you are headed for trouble. "

To remember names is pretty easy. You remember names so you can have others to help or to communicate or anything really. Someone knowing your name and then you not knowing theirs is a little offensive in a way. Asking their name would be a start and a good thing because at least you can get it. From there you can find ways to remember it and you have it.

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet." - William Shakespeare

Rule 4: Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves.
1) " If you aspire to be a good conversationalist, be an attentive listener. "
2) " Remember that the man you are talking to is a hundred times more interested in himself and his wants and his problems than he is in you and your problems. "

To be a good listener you have to pay attention to what people are saying. Listen really closely to them and the opinions they have and everything. Asking someone to repeat themselves is a little rude because that just proves to them that you weren't listening. Them knowing that is pretty offensive and that makes them think of themselves as not interesting or they talk to much. That shows that you have no interest as well. Being a good listener and not making someone repeat themselves is better. Proves you are interested in what they are saying and actually paying attention by maybe giving some helpful feedback.

" One of the most sincere forms of respect is actually listening to what another has to say. " - Bryant H. McGill

Rule 5: Talk in terms of the other man's interest.
" The royal road to a man's heart is to talk to him about the things he treasures most. "

Talking in terms in someone else interest is best because it seems as you're interested in what they think. Not only what you think but them as well. You find out and hear what they like and treasure most. You can conversate things on from there. It's like the last rule but this time you find out about what they treasure.

Image result for talk clipart" If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart. " - Nelson Mandela

Rule 6: Make the other person feel important and do it sincerely.
" The desire to be important is the deepest urge in human nature." ( John Dewey ) " Helping people feel important and appreciated works magic. "

To make people important you should accept them for who they are. That may sound like the basic thing but yes you make them feel important by accepted who they are and how they act because that's them being able to be themselves around you. Show your admiration to them, pat attention to them and the little things they're doing. You should be concerned for them with whatever it is. Showing stuff that you care makes them feel like you think they are important. Showing that to somebody makes them feel special. It's like a warm feeling you get when you know because you just know.

Image result for feel important" Love is when the other person's happiness is more important than your own. " - H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

Final Reflection: I think ways to change people's perspectives on things is by helping them get into these rules. Such as having interest and the rest of that. If you want people to like you , you'd have to become honest and a social person be open minded about things if you dont agree with something look at it from their perspective being able to relate to people having something in common also plays a role in making people like you. Like now people aren't really taught to follow these rules and they're just off and self centered in their own little world and in other peoples eyes. Knowing these rules is a good thing because then you'd have people liking you.
